Ingredients
8 oz. Pappardelle's Italian Pesto Pasta Blend (or pasta of choice)
8 oz. Hot Italian Sausage
8 oz. Broccoli floretes
2 Tbsp. Olivia's Butter Olive Oil
1/4 C Olivia's Hot Harissa Oil, or olive oil of choice
1/2 Sweet red pepper, diced
1/2 Onion, diced
1 Garlic clove, chopped
1 Tomatoe, seeded and chopped corsely
1 C Half and half cream
1 C Parmesan Cheese, grated
1 Tsp. Cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp. Fresh Parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Cook pasta according to package direction, 8 to 10 minutes, drain, reserve 1/2 C pasta water, set pasta aside
Fry Italian Sausage, (casings removed) in a skillet over medium heat, breaking into bite sized chunks. We cooked, remove and drain, set aside
In same skillet, heat oils over medium heat, sauté onions and garlic and stir. Add red pepper and broccoli florets. Stir and sauté for another 3 minutes. Add tomato and stir.
Add cooked pasta, sausage, half and half, parmesan cheese, and cayenne pepper.
Stir in parley and cook over medium heat until thick.
