Harissa Roasted Cashews
Another wonderful addition to a charcuterie platter or cheese plate.
The sweetness of cashews roasts beautifully with salt and Hot Harissa Infused Olive Oil. This blend keeps a nice hit of spice after cooking.
Ingredients:
- 1 bag of Cashews (roasted raw, salted or unsalted)
- Sel de Mer
- Hot Harissa to coat
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 300 F
- Place cashews in a bowl and drizzle with enough Hot Harissa Infused Olive Oil to coat the cashews but not so much that you create pools of oil in the bowl.
- Spread the cashews into a single layer on a cookie sheet and then sprinkle with Sel de Mer even if you use salted cashews.
- Roast the cashews for about 30 minutes stirring every 5-10 minutes.
- They are done when they are dark in colour and mostly dry.
- Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
