Chipotle & Sea Salted Roasted Pecans
These delightful roasted pecans are the perfect addition to your kitchen pantry. They store very well in an airtight container so keep them on hand for charcuterie platters, salad sprinkles, yoghurt and granola or just a late night snack.
Ingredients:
- 1 Large bag of Pecans (raw or roasted, we use the Costco brand)
- 1/2 cup Chipotle Infused Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Sel de Mer
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit
- Cover a large cookie sheet in tin foil (or 2 small)
- In a large bowl, mix pecans, Chipotle Infused Olive Oil and 1.5 tbsp of the Sel de Mer
- Pour the pecan mixture onto the baking sheet(s) and spread into a mostly single layer - some overlap is fine as you will stir. Sprinkle with remaining Sel de Mer
- Place the tray in the oven
- Cook time is 30 - 35 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Remove when the pecans are a dark, purplish brown.
- Let cool and store.
